Previous brushed-gold fixtures repeatedly developed coating discoloration, unstable infrared response near mirrored surfaces, and inconsistent shutoff timing after prolonged guest usage, whereas this faucet maintained highly accurate sensor activation with minimal false triggering throughout continuous daily operation. Earlier designer systems also required frequent maintenance visits to correct irregular flow behavior and finish deterioration under aggressive cleaning schedules, while this brushed-gold finish retained its appearance exceptionally well with significantly lower upkeep requirements. Several installations initially required minor calibration adjustments because of varying countertop reflectivity and basin depth, but after setup standardization the valve regulation, infrared stability, and overall operational reliability remained highly consistent across all installed locations.
